Frequently Asked Questions:
What is your pricing?
The first notary/commissioner signature is $50 + HST; each additional at the same meeting is $10 + HST. This is counted by how many times the notary is required to sign (not necessarily based on how many pages or documents you have). For example, a 10-page document may only require a notary signature on the last page.
What type of ID do you accept?
We require valid (unexpired) Canadian government-issued photo ID which includes a signature and recent photo. The ideal examples are Driver's Licence and Canadian Passport. If you have a PR card, for example, which doesn't have a signature on it, we would ask for a Driver's Licence or Passport along with this. We cannot accept Health Cards as a form of ID.
What payment options do you accept?
E-transfer is preferred, but credit cards are also accepted.
Can you provide me with a receipt?
Yes, of course. We can provide an electronic receipt via Square.
What are your office hours?
As we are a remote service with a focus on customer convenience, we do not have fixed hours of operation. We will always do our best to be flexible and accommodate your schedule.
Do you offer weekend, evening and holiday appointments?
Yes, and at no additional cost. Availability will of course vary depending on the specific dates and times.
Can you come to my home to notarize my documents?
Due to Covid-19, we are not currently making physical in-home visits. However, if you prefer an in-person meeting, we can meet near Queen Street & West Drive in Brampton.
Can you guarantee that the recipient of my commissioned or notarized document will accept it?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the party receiving your final commissioned or notarized document will accept it. It is your responsibility to ensure you are using the correct document for your circumstances, that it is completed correctly, and that the recipient will accept a remotely commissioned or notarized document. There may be circumstances where the party receiving the commissioned or notarized document is not willing to accept one which has been commissioned or notarized remotely. We recommend you confirm these details with the party you are providing the document to prior to scheduling an appointment.
